yesterday was boxing day! it was lovely :) laniaaa  and i went shopping + saw sherlock holmes.

i bought sparkly body powder + some other body shop stuff, but primarily the sparkly body powder, 'cause it SPARKLES and you can apparently put it on cupcakes; also two dresses + a top + a tshirt with a unicorn on it. i like unicorns!

the night before that i reread the dark is rising, which i have been putting off, because nostalgia tends to choke me: omfg, that is a good book. will stanton can marry me any time. i think my new year's resolution is gonna be to get into that fandom, because i can't live w/ the ending of silver on the tree, i just can't. if i ever get to fulfil my lifetime goal of adapting tdir for the screen in a way that doesn't suck, i'm gonna change the ending. i don't even CARE, will and bran and jane and simon and barney are gonna be okay.

so yeah, you should watch that movie. if you like boys flirting, you will like it. guaranteed.

today i made karenhealey 's pavlova, and also creme brulee with the remaining egg yolks. they were both delicious, but now i feel sick.

also, last night we watched the land before time, and i cried all the way through. i am such a girl, guys.
